Humans are the only species that can continue to “learn” as adults. Many animals, such as dogs, sheep, and monkeys, stop learning when they grow up and aim to maintain the status quo. However, the act of learning is a manifestation of our unique childlike nature, and it is characteristic of humankind to have the desire to continue learning even as adults.
